Ice cream was one of my favourite desserts growing up. But we usualy had a store bought brand full of undesirable additives, flavourings and colourings.
Nothing compares to homemade. However, most recipes call for a special ice cream maker and take a long time to make.
In addition, this one adds some great anti-inflammatory foods such as cacao and almonds.

Chocolate Ice Cream
Easy, dairy free, healthy and delicious. It doesn't get better than that!
- 3 bananas sliced and frozen
- 2 tsp cacao powder unsweetened
- 1 tbsp almond butter
Place frozen bananas in food processor and blend until smooth (a few minutes). You may have to stop a few times to scrape the sides.
Add cacao powder and almond butter and blend until mixed well. Serve & enjoy!
Tip: You can make this in advance and freeze in an airtight container.
